Our current projects
Our current projects are all about sustainability and environmental protection. From the installation of energy-efficient LED lighting (Sep 24) to FSC® certification (Sep 23) for sustainable printed products to roof renovation with photovoltaics (Aug 23) - we are actively committed to an environmentally friendly future. In addition, we planted our own orchard for bees and butterflies in 2022 and have been purchasing 100% green electricity from LichtBlick since January 2022. Discover our steps for a greener world!

Installation of energy-efficient LED lighting
In September 2024, we switched to energy-efficient LED lighting in our company. With this measure, we are not only significantly reducing our electricity consumption, but are also making an important contribution to climate protection. The LEDs offer a longer service life and reduce CO₂ emissions - a further step towards sustainability and responsible use of resources. In this way, we are creating a more environmentally friendly working environment and relying on future-oriented technologies

Certification according to FSC
Forest Stewardship Council® - or in short: FSC®
Sustainability has always been a big issue for us and we started early on to work in an environmentally friendly way and to plan measures to improve our ecological footprint within the scope of our possibilities. One planned measure for this was FSC certification.
We have been an FSC-certified company since September. For you, this means that you can prove 100% that the printed materials we supply represent the sustainable use of raw materials.

Roof renovation with installation of a photovoltaic system
The roof renovation was originally planned for 2020, but then the Corona period put a stop to our plans. Now the roof renovation is in full swing, taking environmentally relevant criteria into account.

Planting our first own fruit trees
There used to be horses on the meadow behind our printing shop. In September 2022 we started to plant a windfall meadow, including a flowering meadow. Bees, butterflies and other insects find food there. If possible, we will make the site even more diverse and create a small, natural place.

Switching to mineral oil-free printing ink
The printing inks and varnishes we had used up to that point were neither toxic nor irritating and were also cobalt-free, i.e. free of heavy metals. Due to the increased demand, we did some research and switched our printing ink to mineral oil-free. Mineral oil-free printing ink convinced us because it saves resources and allows for better recycling of the paper. You too?

Get our electricity from LichtBlickstrom
Even small things can achieve great things. This prompted us to think about what we as a small company can do to become more sustainable and not harm the environment as much as possible. Switching electricity. We thought it would be really easy and it was! Turning on the lights, starting up the computer and getting the printing machines to work at full capacity with a better feeling.
